Sprinkler

My mission for this summer is to have plenty of fun outdoor activities for my boys. My youngest loves to be outside, no matter if he is being entertained or not. He’ll go outside just to be outside. But my oldest despises being forced to play outside, especially if it’s hot. I can sympathize with this. I don’t like the nasty humidity either.
However, I firmly believe that playing outdoors is fundamentally important for growing kids. So…I have been sending them outside every chance I get.
Last weekend, I spent $20 on a water hose and a sprinkler. What kid doesn’t like to play in a sprinkler during stifling summer heat??
It’s still a little too cold for this kind of fun, but oh well. ![]()
I call this “Nap-time prep work”.
Last night, I stayed up way too late watching a movie, and therefore, I slept to an embarrassing hour today.
But hey….it’s the weekend. ![]()
I also took a GOB of pictures of the food we ate this weekend, and I may put up a separate post with those photos.
And…..I just spent about two hours organizing files, pictures, and music on my computer. And cleaning off pics from my phone. I haven’t done this in about 6 months.
There is no task I LOATHE more than organizing computer files. Truly. I HATE. This is why my laptop files are a chaotic mess.
And….that is all. ![]()
