So. This past Saturday, I said to my husband, “What kind of sweet talkin’ would I have to do in order to go makeup shopping today?”

He smiled and told me to keep it under a hundred dollars. And then he told me to have fun.

After I realized he was not playing a really mean joke on me, I was like, “Hells yeah baby!”

As I’m sure you can imagine, doing this series has made me want to makeup shop ALL THE TIME.

 

ANYWAY…..

This is my haul. I warn you now……IT’S SEXY.

Let’s break it down……

When I saw this powder on Youtube, my only mission in life was to acquire it. Spf 50, sweat-proof, water-proof, full coverage.

YES.

Milani bronzer and a bronzer brush. I have never tried bronzer before…the idea of having a brown face and white neck terrified me. But, I love this stuff. I went with a bronzer that shimmers (instead of a more discreet matte finish) and it just gives me a nice glow. Love it. No weird brown-ness. Just gotta have a light touch.

I seemed to have forgotten to get an individual picture of it, but I also got a eyeshadow palette by Nyx. It has 10 neutral shades for creating a smoky eye. I love it.

 

L’Oreal Infallible eyeshadows (been coveting these for WEEKS), two Nyx jumbo lip liners, and a Nyx lipstick. This is my first time using Nyx and I LOVE. Inexpensive and good quality. Score and score.

Revlon Diamond Lust eyeshadows. DEAD SEXY WITH ALL THE SHIMMERS AND THE GLITTERS. LOVE THESE. I may or may not have every color in this line. Just sayin’. Likes the glitters.

Pictures can not do these shadows justice. They are beautiful. And they have great, great staying power.

Revlon gel liner, EOS hand lotions (had coupons for these), and another EOS lip balm.

These lip balms make me die. I just die.

Do you see how freaking precious they are??? I could just eat them they are so precious. I’m completely obsessed with their preciousness.

Now I know these aren’t a new product, but their lack of newness does not alleviate their preciousness and their make-me-die-ness.

Because I am obsessed with their precious quality and the way they make me die, I have five of them.

As you can see, I went eyeshadow crazy. I have NEVER had as many eyeshadows as I do right now, and it is so awesome. Instead of wearing the same shadow everyday, I now have choices and it is so……. nice. Really nice. I open my makeup drawer several times a day to admire and stroke my new shadows. And my lip balms.

I’m really addicted to this makeup thing right now. It’s weird. I promise that I’m not normally like this. I’m obsessed in a not-so-cute kind of way.
