My current addiction: Instagram.

I’m pretty late to the game. Instagram (which is a phone app that you simply post pictures on) is not a new thing. But a few weeks ago I finally downloaded it. I added a few photos, looked around, liked it all pretty good. Then I started liking it a bit more. And then some more. And then I liked it even more.

And now my phone (and it’s built-in camera) are permanent extensions of my arm.

Now here’s the really good part.

You may be wondering what I take pictures of and post to Instagram.

I’ll show you….

Yep. I take pictures of makeup.

I fear I have really developed some problems with my mental stability.

This makeup thing must be stopped.

*hangs head in shame*

Not only do I appear to be collecting makeup, but now I force it to pose while I photograph it.

On the plus side, there are some very sweet girls on Instagram that like my photos and give me really pleasant feedback. Essentially, they are are feeding the flames.

This is probably not a good thing.

What’s the emoticon for ‘embarrassed’? Or the emoticon for ‘crazy’?

I wanted to stop talking about makeup on my blog for fear of looking like an obsessive psycho, so I moved all my makeup-weirdness over to Instagram. Hence, I’m now addicted to Instagram.

If there is an antidote for this makeup phase I’m currently in, someone please send it to me.

Ok. It’s not like I ONLY photograph makeup products that I have carefully posed.

I have a few other pics on there as well. (But I’ll be honest. My makeup pics to regular pics ratio is 90/10).

I post pics of food. I post pics when I go running. I post pics of my kiddos.

I have also forced my 10 year old son to start an Instagram. My husband started an Instagram account as well so he can more closely monitor my fall into mental dilapidation. I believe he has made a secret medical file in which he makes meticulous notes.

There you have it. Now you know.

I’m losing my grip with reality.

Oh. P.S……all of the pics in this post were taken with my brand new iphone 4s. The camera on that phone is remarkable.
