This weekend, the husband taught my nephew Zach how to make pens.

Fact:

My three nephews….Clay, Zach, and Chance…are some of my most favorite people.

They’re swell.

And by “swell”, I mean “nice”, not “swell up like a dead and bloated heifer.”

Another fun fact:

Zach just got home from Costa Rica.

I still haven’t figured out why he didn’t take me with him.

I really think I would have fit in his carry-on nicely.

After a trip to get supplies, Zach set out to make 3 pens: one for himself, one for his mom (my sister), and one to send in the mail to his very pretty girlfriend.

Fun fact number 3:

Girls like pens.

Especially nice, pretty pens.

Dear Men……pens make good gifts. Your welcome.
