My Fitness Pal

This past Sunday, I woke up and immediately thought, “I’m going on a diet today.” I had given it no prior thought whatsoever. I just rolled over in bed and decided to do it. Just like that.
Shazam.
I have had the myfitnesspal app on my phone for months (and months) but had never used it. While I was still lying in bed, I registered with the app and the website.
For the past 5 days, I have been very strictly watching my calorie intake, and inputting all my information into the app like an obsessed person.
I’ve lost 4.4 pounds in 5 days.
I mean just dang.
I’m in love with the app and the website.
I log my calorie intake, any exercise I’ve done, and my weight. They even give me little graphs and charts to monitor my progress.
AND IT’S ALL FREE.
So, I have this free program, I’ve lost 4.4 pounds, and I’ve been eating donuts for breakfast for the last 3 days.
I’m so happy right now.

Actually, you will likely think my meals are weird
I am very ashamed to admit that I have only been doing the Quick Add feature on my calories! I’ve been meaning to start adding meals in, but I’ve been so lazy and spoiled by the simplicity of just adding calories and nothing more.
That’s so weird that you’ve been doing this! For about the past three days, I’ve been researching every single piece of food in my house to see what ingredients are in them and if they’re safe. I feel crazy! I have given my husband, my sister, my neighbor and will be giving the church all the food I simply cannot eat anymore due to this freak frenzy. There were BAGS and BAGS of food.
I went to the grocery store today and got all fresh food to restock the pantry, fridge and freezer. We’ve eaten SO GOOD the past few days. As good as my research allows at least

Haven’t lost any weight though, although I’m not exercising. I’m excited for warmer weather – I LOVE to walk. It’s my favorite.
Before I went to the store though, Bub was hungry and my hubs literally had nothing in the house to give him for lunch except a piece of cheese. HAHA!
Either that or oatmeal. I really got rid of ALL the food.
I’m too lazy to do any app like that, I have to do it old school. Pen and paper, but it helps SO MUCH to write that stuff down.
